Philips Appoints Paul Maudsley As Head Of The London Watch Department

Famous watch expert Paul Maudsley joined Phillips Auction House as an international expert and head of the London watch department. In his 16-year career, Paul Maudsley has auctioned more than 20,000 watches, which is equivalent to an average of 1.5 per hour per working day. It is believed that he changed the British watch market.
   Paul Maudsley loves watches and has been collecting since the age of 13 and has accumulated a wealth of expertise. He has organized watch auctions on three continents and is responsible for the global procurement of top-quality watches. Paul Maudsley loves Rolex sports watches, and he has countless records of such watch auctions for different models and their derivative creations.
   Aurel Bacs, Phillips Senior Advisor, said: ‘We warmly welcome Paul Maudsley to the international expert team and look forward to being able to participate in this autumn’s Geneva auction (November 7-8) and the first Phillips Hong Kong auction (December 1) Work hand in hand.
